Featuring notable artists from the Golden Age of Ukiyo-e through the Meiji Restoration, this collection follows the military and amorous pursuits of Japan's legendary warriors.

Works of art include Historical (Musha-e), "Romantic" (Shunga) and ActorfTheater (Kabuki) prints. Original Woodblocks by noted artists Kuniyoshi, Yoshitoshi, Yoshitora, Kuniteru, Kunichika, Toyokuni, Kunisada, Masanobu and Hokusai will be highlighted.

A Taisho Yoroi-Kabuto Samurai Suit depicting the Kamakura Period set (Mid 1200's) of the Lord of Satsuma will be on display.

We are pleased to invite the public to experience the rich interrelation of aesthetics and history that characterize Asian civilizations. This exhibition is presented to convey a deep sense of the cultural heritage and achievements of Japan.
