Some of the most captivating works ever created have taken the form of scrolls. During the Ming (1368 – 1644 A.D.) and Qing (1644 – 1911 A.D.) dynasties, scrolls bore the influence of Buddhist iconography, native literature and more often visualizations of an idealized universe, rather than realistic depictions of the actual environment.

This outstanding collection, assembled over the last two decades, will feature 18th through 20th century works of art.
